InstructionsQuickMist Nicotine 1mg/ spray: Read pack insert before use. Use in adolescents under professional supervision only. Adults 18 years and over: 1. Stopping Weeks 1 to 6: Use 1-2 sprays when you would normally smoke a cigarette or have cravings to Immediately smoke (1-2 sprays every 30 minutes —1 hour). Do not use more than 4 spray/hour for 16 hours or 64 sprays/day. Weeks 7 to 9: start reducing the number of sprays/day. Weeks 10 to 12: Gradually reduce to 2-4 sprays/day and then stop use. 2. Cutting down Gradually increase mouth spray use (do not use more than 4 sprays/hour for 16 hours or 64 sprays/day) and reduce smoking with the aim of stopping by 6 months. If you have not cut down at 6 weeks or stopped at 9 months, see your doctor/pharmacist. 3. Combination Therapy If you have relapsed with single nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or if you have cravings with single use NRT, you can use Nicorette Mouth Spray in addition to Nicorette Patch for better craving relief. Use patch as directed and aim to use 1-2 sprays of Nicorette Mouth Spray (do not use more than 2 sprays/hour for 16 hours, or 32 sprays/day). After 12 weeks reduce use of patch or mouth spray (see pack insert). 16hr Invisipatch Nicotine 25mg/16hours: A higher dose patch is used first followed by lower dose patches for up to 12 weeks. Read pack insert before use. Use in adolescents under professional supervision only. How to apply: 1. Wash and dry hands thoroughly before and after use. 2. Apply to clean and dry skin using a different part of the body each day. 3. Remove plastic coating. Do not touch sticky surface. Press patch onto skin for about 10 seconds. 4. Run finger around the edge of the patch to ensure seal. Apply 1 patch every morning to skin of the thigh, hip, arm or chest. Remove the patch before going to bed. For: Adults 18 years and over who smoke more than 15 cigarettes a day. For how long: Weeks 1-8. Then use the 15mg/16hr patch. Combination therapy: If you have relapsed with single nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or if you have cravings during use with single use NRT, you can use Nicorette 2mg Gum, in addition to Nicorette 16hr INVISIPATCH for better craving relief. Use patch as directed and aim to chew at least 4 pieces (maximum of 12) of Nicorette Gum 2mg a day (see back of gum pack). After 12 weeks reduce use of Patch or Gum (see pack insert). Store below 25C.
