Always read the label. Use only as directed. Incorrect use could be harmful. If symptoms persist see your Healthcare Professional. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any of these medical conditions or have had them in the past: asthma, ulcers in stomach or bowel, bleeding from stomach or bowel, any other serious stomach or bowel problem, severe kidney disease. Unless a doctor has told you otherwise, do not use this product if you have asthma. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any of the following medicines: warfarin (a medicine used to prevent blood clots), aspirin, salicylates, any other NSAID medicines, any other medicines Unless a doctor or pharmacist has told you to, do not use this product with other medicines containing diclofenac, with other anti-inflammatory medicines or with other medicines you are taking regularly. This product contains propylene glycol, which may cause a mild localised skin reaction in certain people. This product contains butylated hydroxytoluene which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis) or irritation to the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use Voltaren Emulgel 12 Hourly: On children under 12 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have an allergy to: diclofenac (the active ingredient in Voltaren Osteo Gel 12 Hourly) or any of the other ingredients, aspirin, any other anti-inflammatory medicine, any other medicines for pain relief. If you are not sure if you are taking any of these medicines, ask your pharmacist.
Instructions
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: Apply the gel 2 times a day (preferably morning and evening). You may apply the gel under a brace or bandages that are not airtight. Use for up to 3 weeks, if needed. If your condition has not improved or gets worse after 7 days, see your pharmacist or doctor.
