This preparation should not be used on infants. Avoid contact with eyes and open wounds. Do not use heat lamps, heat pads, hot water bottles or bandages. If rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your doctor or pharmacist. Keep away from open flame.
Instructions
Gently smooth a small quantity of Metsal cream into the skin 2-3 times a day. The cream penetrates to provide rapid relief from pain. Vigorous rubbing is not required. Sports: Apply metsal heat rub before, during and after sport to relieve sports sprains, strains, muscle and joint pain. Before Sport: Apply metsal before sport and warm up activity During Sport: Apply metsal to sore and tired muscles and joints to relieve pain. After Sport: Apply metsal to muscles and joints to relieve pain associated with sprains, strains and sore muscles. When Injured: REST: Rest injury for at least 48-72 hours. ICE: Apply ice to injured area immediately for 20 minutes every 2 hours to reduce swelling and pain. COMPRESS: Wrap injury with compression bandage ELEVATION: Elevate injured area to reduce swelling and pain. Recovery: Metsal heath rub can be applied to muscles and joints once the swelling has subsided.
